The Andrews Labor Government is helping make Moorooduc Primary a more inclusive school for local students and families.

Member for Eastern Victoria, Jane Garrett today announced that the school will receive $192,400 under the $20 million Inclusive Schools Fund.

The funding boost will go towards building an outdoor sensory playground and purchasing new equipment.

The Labor Government’s Inclusive Schools Fund helps government schools implement innovative projects that promote inclusive school environments.
It helps schools better support the needs of children and young people with a disability, by providing funding to build school facilities.

The project is part of a $2.5 billion investment over three years to build the Education State, giving every student access to a great local school with a great education.

Victoria’s school building boom has delivered more than 1,000 school upgrades and 56 new school projects across the state, supporting almost 5,000 construction jobs for Victorians.
