State Member for Brunswick, Jane Garrett is inviting members of her electorate to take part in her consultation into the issue of work life balance.

Ms Garrett said in an increasingly dynamic economy, and fast paced society, there are mounting pressures on employees and individuals, with their personal and family time suffering as a consequence.

“I’m conducting this consultation to gather the views and experiences members of our community are facing with these pressures, as this is an issue that is being raised with me on an increasing basis,” Ms Garrett said.

“Whether you are juggling your work with childcare, to being a carer for a family member, struggling with your work load, the volume of overtime you work – paid or unpaid, being on call or out of work responsibility and expectations, I’m keen to hear your views.

Views expressed as a part of the consultation will compiled into a report, assisting Jane in her advocacy on this issue.
