The Victorian Government is committed to delivering opportunities for people of all abilities to experience and benefit from nature, with works recently commencing to deliver wheelchair friendly amenities at Two Mile Creek campground at Upper Dargo.

Nestled on the banks of the historic Dargo River, Two Mile Creek campground is a scenic High Country location, ideal for fishing and swimming.

This work is part of Victoria’s Great Outdoors, a $105.6 million investment in better walking trails, campgrounds, four-wheel drive tracks and visitor facilities.

Victoria’s Great Outdoors is providing a boost to regional towns by upgrading campgrounds and facilities, creating jobs, supporting local business and attracting more visitors to tourist areas.

When complete, Two Mile campground will have accessible toilets, an accessible path to link the campground facilities, accessible viewing areas of Two Mile Creek and an accessible picnic shelter with wheelchair friendly tables.

These works will be finished by December 2021.

Victorians are reminded to adhere to physical distancing and hygiene requirements to ensure permitted activities are carried out safely:
